About the Museum
The Alekos Fassianos Museum occupies a structure redesigned and crafted by architect Kyriakos Krokos in a closely collaborative effort with Alekos Fassianos. The construction concluded in 1995, and in 2023, the Alekos Fassianos Museum welcomed the public.
This museum holds particular significance in Athens' contemporary artistic and architectural landscape, as it stands as one of the rare instances globally where the symbiotic relationship between artist and architect forms the foundation for a dialogue between the artworks and the encompassing space.
